Ben & Emma's Cielo Farms Wedding

I just love these two, and I’ve been dying to share their Cielo Farms wedding for what feels like forever! Fun fact: when I met Ben & Emma, I found out 1) we’re neighbors and 2) they met at one of Matt & I’s favorite local bars (Shannon’s on 2nd, anyone?)

So, basically, I felt like I was photographing family — from watching them laugh + tear up through their vows, to rapping every song on the dance floor with them — they seriously hold such a special place in my heart! Here’s Emma’s description of their wedding day vision for all you inspo-lovers out there!

From Emma:

I really knew what kind of style and vibe I wanted for my wedding from the minute I chose Cielo Farms as our venue; something classic, simple and elegant, but still had a unique look that really exemplified my husband and I’s style. I wanted very neutral blushes/pinks in terms of the color palette, with mostly all white flowers, and some clean white, yet unique linens. The venue has a rustic, Tuscan style, however, I wanted to tone out the wood and stone with lots of whites, creams and blushes in the colors, and clean modern lines in the arch that we chose for our ceremony.

Personal touches were so important! We named our specialty cocktails after Ben’s late grandfather (The Secret Agent after his FBI roots) and my dad (The PGC, his company’s acronym), and created drink wafers of our sweet pup’s face so she could be a part of everyone’s cheers, too!

Our ceremony florals and arch by Penelope Pots were by far the best-crafted detail we had for the event. The circular arch with the staggered aisle and flowers was so incredible and such a special touch that she added. My white flowers with dashes of stone pink were EVERYTHING. One of my favorite things we did for my wedding was definitely the silent disco at the end of the night that we had incorporated with our DJ — that was by far the coolest and most unexpected event of our wedding and I think it really took the party to another level. I was absolutely blown away when I saw the whole thing come together! I wanted our wedding to be just as much of an incredible party as it would be a serious ceremony of commitment. What mattered the most? Ben and I sharing this beautiful moment in our life with our friends and family.

Enjoy Ben + Emma’s gorgeous wedding, one of my favorite days of 2019!

xx
