Alex & Tori's wedding took place in Pismo Beach, back in the beautiful rolling hills on a crisp December afternoon that fell close to Christmas day. Their wedding was winter-inspired, yet it glistened with the warmth of the Christmas season. Love this perfectly elegant wedding - one of my winter favorites!

Tori & her girls looked absolutely stunning at her Aunt's private estate before the wedding. Wilder Floral Co. did a beautiful job creating the perfect bouquets of red, white, pink, & green. Tori: "I chose the richness of the color red for my bridesmaid dresses because, well, I have never seen anything more elegant than beautiful women in red dresses."

Tori: "When planning the decor for our wedding I wanted as many evergreens as I could get my hands on, beautiful red, pink, and white flower accents, and the elegance of the color gold sprinkled throughout. The 80 foot cedar garland that was hung behind the head table was one of my favorite aspects of the decor. It was just so beautiful against the gorgeous wood panel wall! Additionally we had numerous Christmas trees decorated with the pine cones that my mother and aunt were so sweet to hand decorate with gold glitter."

Their guests found their table by picking their personal ornament off of a pine tree, & documented their attendance with polaroid cameras provided next to the guest book before the ceremony. Melody Ann Clark Design created their gorgeous, hand-crafted invitation set to match the day.

Tori: "During our first date freshmen year of college we made pancakes and talked for hours, despite it being finals week. We discovered we shared a passion for travel and proceeded to write out a list of all the places we wanted to go. On our wedding day, I gave him that list and a journal to document our life to come. And he got me a travel album, mentioning it was for the places we had talked about 4 and a half years ago. We both laughed with huge smiles when we opened our gifts."

Tori: "With the desire to have a honeymoon in a warm location, we decided to get married during the winter season, & chose December 27th! Reflecting back on the day, I think it was the perfect time of year to have our wedding. After spending our engagement in a long distance relationship, there was nothing sweeter than becoming husband and wife during a season characterized by togetherness, cheer, Christ, and family! (And the fact that it was also the season of snuggles, hot chocolate, evergreens, and Christmas lights was just the icing on the cake!)"

"The ornaments that hung from the chandelier in the barn - the one that we danced our first dance under - contained dried petals from the very first flower bouquet that Alex ever bought me. Four and a half years ago, I saved the petals. So when we danced for the first time as Mr. & Mrs., they reminded us of the beautiful journey it took to get to that day. And gave us hope & endurance for the beautiful road ahead. And so it went. He asked me to marry him, and it was the most joyous day. Ever."
